Fan Jia proposed the “Shanghai–Fudan criteria” for selecting liver cancer patients for liver transplantation and developed a multimodal treatment approach for liver cancer with portal vein tumor thrombus. Fan Jia also heads Zhongshan Hospital’s Department of Liver Surgery.
